One of the hardest parts about having two A type personalities together in a marriage is figuring out which one is suppose to lead.
We would be lying if we said it’s been smooth sailing since the beginning of our relationship, because it definitely hasn’t been. There’s been times where he’s carried me and other times that I’ve had to carry him; however, I decided to say yes to marrying a man that I will follow for the rest of my life. I trust his judgment, his actions, his integrity, his path to success, his faith and reasonings.
If I ran from every situation that wasn’t picture perfect, there would be no us. Even if sometimes it’s hard for the A type in me to step back, I still choose to follow him because he hasn’t steered us wrong yet. He’s led us to God, an amazing marriage, financial freedom, time freedom and an open mind for more opportunities.
I have no idea where I would be if I didn’t choose you to follow you. I never pictured living a life like this, but you have pushed me past limits that I thought were out of reach.
